Wonderful ☺ Amazing location, great hosts that communicated well and happily left us alone as we knew what we were doing, i got the impressionthey would have helped if we'd wanted anything..Lovely villa with all that we needed as a base for exploring he Orlando and Tampa theme parks. Loved the master bedroom, massive bed and bathroom suite. Great big spaces, and loads of kitchen equipment and supplies. The villa looked exactly as the photos on booking.com which is why I've not added any. We spent 3.5 weeks here as a family.of 4 with adult "kids" of 21 and 17 and it was wonderful. I would book again. ☹ We bought our own pillows as the ones suplied were too soft or way too big and hard, Air con was a bit louder than we're used to, microwave was a bit rusty and washing machine etc could do with an update. Decor could do with an update in bedrooms, and the pool could have been cleaner - none of these enough to detract from a really great stay in a lovely villa in a wonderful location for a good price. Previous guests had left some inflatables which had gone a little mouldy - we just ignored them. I would go back and book again. I was close to rating 10/10Posted on Booking

It's very spacious and has all the amenities that you could want or ever need for a comfortable family stay. Loved the pool and the outside space, which is all very private. The property is very close to all the Disney attractions, which is particularly handy as you can come and go to the Disney parks during the course of a day if you want. We had no real reason to contact Phil during our stay, but he seemed a really friendly amenable person when talking to him before we arrived. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone. ☹ We were a bit unlucky with the weather at times, so maybe Phil could do better next time! ha haPosted on Booking

Angel Samples11 August 2024The house was beautiful! There was ample room for our family, with 4 bedrooms and four bathrooms. The common areas were large enough for everyone to sit comfortably. The pool was a bonus that we enjoyed daily. Especially after a long day at Magic Kingdom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed, and more. Any questions we had were answered very promptly. And we were also provided with recommendations for wonderful restaurants, and tidbits on navigating the Disney Parks. Denise HK6 May 2024As a family with 3 children, we really enjoyed Mickey's Lake villa! The house is enormous and fully equipped. As a mother of 3, I am most happy with the washing machine and dryer :-) the house was super clean when we arrival. we enjoyed the pool and the beautiful view. We came here of course for the Disney parks, but if we walked in the park for less than an hour, the children were already asking when we were returning to the villa to swim in the pool. My favorite place was the patio, enjoying the weather and watching everyone play in the pool. My husband and the kids went fishing and very much enjoyed it they caught several fish. The house was perfect! Clean & comfortable, with everything as described, and hosts easy to work with. Specifically- beds were comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets & pillows. There were plenty of towels as well, and great hot water and shower/bath facilities. We didn't cook, but kitchen looked fully stocked, and let us have our own grab-and-go breakfasts & snacks. We didn't have young kids, but house was well-stocked for them- all kinds of floats & pool toys, a crib in the master bedroom, and a toddler bed in the master walk-in closet that could have made it a delightful extra little-kid bedroom. Neighborhood was quiet. Driveway fit two cars, though they had to get pretty friendly with one another. Drive to Disney parks did get as long as 25 minutes when traffic was bad, but was usually closer to 15, which compares pretty favorably to what it takes to get around with on-site transportation. Only things I would have wanted different was to have tissue paper available, and to have more back-up toilet paper. We also found the taste of the tap water absolutely disgusting, even when filtered through the fridge, so if you're not a native of the local water system you're probably going to be happier getting bottled. Plenty of close-by stores to stock up locally for that. We also found ourselves wishing for darker curtains, for sleeping in better after extended park hours. Disney Accomplished! This home is super close to the multiple Disney parks which was a huge plus for us traveling with 4 young children. The home was spacious and slept 8 very comfortably. The homeowners were quick to respond to our questions as we worked through the logistics of our stay. We have stayed at multiple VRBOs during our travels and they we're the best by far in their prompt responses. The only downside is that the carpet could be replaced and some of the walls would benefit from some painting. Rachel H.17 May 2023Fantastic location and lovely view We (party of four adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I can't recommend the villa enough! It is clearly well looked after by the owners, who have thought of lots of extras that are great to have. It's like a home away from home. The layout is great with a bathroom upstairs and one downstairs, plus an extra toilet, and there's plenty of seating and dining space. The kitchen is really well equipped (great for when you want to stay in and prepare a meal) and I was delighted to find a Bialetti hob-top coffeemaker in the cupboard, which gives you a sense of the things that the owners have thought about. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of extra linen provided. It was also nice to have pool towels as well as bath towels, and there are plenty of these too. We also had some hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, and a couple of dishwasher tablets provided, which is not something you find in many villas and was really appreciated. The pool deck was what made this villa for us: it's north-north west facing meaning that there's always some shade and always some sun. We paid for the pool heating and it was lovely to have a warm pool to swim in first thing in the morning, followed by breakfast on the deck. The view next to the lake is lovely but it also helps keep you a bit cooler, we think. Plus the wildlife is fun to watch! The location of the villa is also fantastic: it really is 10 minutes away from Animal Kingdom (and that's in the morning with traffic), and the other Disney parks are about 15-20 minutes away depending on traffic on the 192. Supermarkets and restaurants are really close, too, and it made popping out for things really easy. Phil and Debbie are fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We were in touch a couple of times during our stay and they responded really quickly to our messages, and were always willing to help. Debra28 December 2025The house was easy to find however, it is gray not yellow as in the picture. My granddaughter loved the Cinderella room and we loved the master bedroom downstairs which was very spacious. It got a little warm upstairs at night in the other bedrooms but Phil turned the thermostat down for us. Unusually hot weather which was great because the grandkids got to get in the pool. The house was very close to Disney. Many restaurants to eat out. Glad we got to stay so close to all the parks. Thank you Phil and Debbie.Posted on Google

The den and kitchen area, along with the patio/pool are large enough for everyone to gather together, yet there are enough bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy when needed.The beds are comfy, the couches let you sink in after a long day at the parks, the bathrooms accommodate the respective bedrooms, (plus an extra one for the den/pool combo), and the location is in a quiet neighborhood. What else could you ask for?Phil and Debbie are outstanding, proactive hosts who have all of your pertinent info to you before check-in and are at the ready via ABNB or text if necessary. Sean16 April 2024The villa provided the perfect base for an amazing family holiday, we would not hesitate to return and cannot priase the ☺ The property was fantastic, set against a wonderful backdrop with the lake and a quiet/clean estate. The location in particular was amazing, very accessible and close to all major parks and highways. The villa is also spacious and easily accommodated 8 of us (5 adults and 3 kids). After long days at Disney and universal, the villa was perfect for unwinding and recharging for the next day. With easy access to Orlando, close proximity to many restaurants and shopping (Walmart, Target, Publix) which were all literally ‘round the corner’ and within 5 minutes, the villa really was perfect.Posted on Airbnb

There were clean towels and it had lots of space, there was good air conditioning throughout our stay, free parking and scenic views. The property is really close to a lake as well. oliver s.25 May 2020Great location, property is tired and needs repair/investment The location of this property is great for Disney and the views are amazing, you can see the Disney fireworks over the lake on a clear night! We found a few problems with the villa that were flagged up during our stay including light fittings that were broken and the pool table and table football tables broken etc. A repair man was sent round and did fix some of the problems like a broken shelf however we were told that the broken lights (only 1 out of the 4 bulbs in the room my daughter was in actually worked) and replacement batteries for other items would not be fixed as the owner would not pay for this. Also the pool table could not be used even after the repair man had been as all the balls would roll against the side cushion - apparently adding more cardboard under the adjustable feet still wouldn't fix the problem... Disappointing taint on on otherwise good stay. My family of 3 and my sister's family of 4 stayed here for 1 week and felt like we were in heaven!! The house was clean, and beds were all comfy and the the owners couldn't have been more accommodating. The pool was perfect..in fact we didn't even leave the house except to go out to dinner 3 nights. We didn't use the pool table or the foos ball table so I can't comment on them. A new sofa was delivered while we were there which was wonderful!! We had a small issue with the A/C but before we even called the owner the management had it taken care of. All in all this was an absolute wonderful place to stay and we will be returning here again.
